No video iPod October 12

Seems like the previous post was more correct than incorrect. Engadget, without any further details, has posted that there will be no video iPod. The introduction will probably be for updated full size iPods. There might be some video tie in since the invite shows a closed curtain, that could be interpreted as a movie curtain of old. So there could be an announcement of music videos on iTunes along with the new iPods.
